Driving Test or VORT Test
Requires 100% Road Law compliance and 90% System of Car Control to pass. Three working days notice is required to book a test. Learners must wait two weeks before reattempting a VORT test. Price includes Government fees and charges, and the booking fee is to be paid in advance (non-refundable).

Special 1 day intensive program to get your P’s
“P’s in a Day” is a special one-day intensive program for clients of The Right Gear. The most suitable clients are those who have done their 75 hours but find it difficult to have regular lessons or just need their P’s in a hurry.

Chris was such a kind and patient instructor! I really appreciated his amazing humour and how he made me feel relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel. I had not been driving long when I started with Chris, but he was always supportive, he put me at ease and didn't get grumpy no matter how many times I made the same mistake. I am so lucky that I came across Chris, after having various driving instructors that didn’t work out, I was so nervous to get back into driving. Chris was the absolute best instructor and made me feel so comfortable and safe behind the wheel. Chris was so professional but always managed to make the lessons so enjoyable, and make me laugh! He pushed me to believe and trust in myself and my driving, he built up my confidence so quickly, and was so accommodating to my needs while learning. With his amazing help I was able to get my license so quickly and am confidently and safely driving! I cannot recommend Chris enough - I wish I found him sooner! Thank you a million Chris!
