Our special one day intensive program to get your P’s

“P’s in a Day” is a special one-day intensive program for clients of The Right Gear. The most suitable clients are those who have done their 75 hours but find it difficult to have regular lessons or just need their P’s in a hurry.

We always recommend everyone has a single lesson first to assess their suitability plus receive our handouts to give them the best chance of passing on the day.

The program consists of a full day of training with a VORT test at the end. The day is broken up into three intensive training periods roughly two hours each.  The day begins with the first session designed to cover all the five basic maneuvers to ensure the learner driver can perform them at the required government standard.

The maneuvers are revised again in each of the following two sessions.

Each VORT testing area presents its own unique set of challenges. In sessions two and three we place far more emphasis on the “On-Road Driving” part of the VORT test. We take the client through as many variations as possible of the different types of on-road driving challenges they are likely to face during the test. Although it is illegal to train on the actual VORT routes themselves our clients can be confident they will know how to manage any on-road situation they may have to negotiate.

We always allow for a fifteen-minute break prior to the VORT test. This is an opportunity for our clients to ask questions and go over anything they may still have some concerns with.

The cost of the package is $960

This includes everything plus all costs associated with the VORT test

Chris was such a kind and patient instructor! I really appreciated his amazing humour and how he made me feel relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel. I am so lucky that I came across Chris, after having various driving instructors that didn’t work out, I was so nervous to get back into driving. Chris was the absolute best instructor and made me feel so comfortable and safe behind the wheel. Chris was so professional but always managed to make the lessons so enjoyable, and make me laugh! He pushed me to believe and trust in myself and my driving, he built up my confidence so quickly, and was so accommodating to my needs while learning.
